Carpenders Park Church - Caring and Sharing in the Community

Our Weekly Services

Details of forthcoming services can be found in the Notices section.

You are most welcome to join with us for our regular Sunday morning worship service which is held in the School Hall of St Meryl School, Carpenders Park, starting with refreshments at 10.30 am, worship beginning at 11 am and finishing around  We feel that the 'beginning time' is an important part of the service and it is our way of keeping in touch with the church family over a friendly cup of tea or coffee.

The first Sunday in the month will usually be an all-age Service with child-friendly songs and presentation. Babies and toddlers will have creche facilities within the hall.

On other Sundays, we try to make our Sunday morning services very relevant, with good praise music, meaningful worship, a short visual presentation for children before they go out for their own lessons and activities. The adults continue with bible based messages that are both inspiring and memorable.

The last Sunday of each month includes a Communion Service where we celebrate the Lord Jesus' command to "remember what He did for us on the cross".

We can easily accommodate wheelchairs and there's an entrance ramp for this purpose. The toilet facilities also cater for disabled users. We are also wired up with a loop system for the hard of hearing.

Occasionally, folk may require picking up and dropping off. This can be arranged with a little bit of notice.

We have a junior Sunday School for the younger members of the church. All our teachers and helpers have been screened and vetted according to the requirements of the child protection laws.

The format and structure of our morning services varies with each service leader and so offers a wide variety of presentations and styles which keeps us all on our toes.
