What The Church Does

Meeting Place:

An informal opportunity to meet in a home setting for Prayer, Praise, Fellowship and Sharing. These meetings are on a monthly basis and usually take place on the last Wednesday of the month, starting at 8.00 pm. Currently, the venues rotate between various member homes. If you would like to attend a Meeting Place evening, please check the Church Diary for the venue and date. All are welcome.

Home Groups:

CPC run several Home Groups providing a great opportunity to get to grips with the Bible in a non theological setting. Each Home Group is run by a Home Group leader who takes time to plan and prepare for an evening of discovery, questions and grappling with difficult issues. Home groups are dotted around the estate and each group has its own study theme and personality. On average, the Home Groups vary from between 6-10 people per group. Time is given for group discussion and reflection.

Youth Work:

Currently, our Church Youth Work is limited to the Sunday School children on Sundays. We're aiming to develop an active Young People's group in the future and plans are afoot to progress our vision for this all important area of work.

The Music Group:

CPC Music Group (Worship Team) are responsible for the musical ministry of the church and try to bring a varied range of music and styles to enhance the worship life of CPC. Significant investment has been made to provide the church with good PA and audio facilities. Services are recorded and there's a loop system for the hard of hearing.

Mission Work:

CPC actively support and promote mission activity in the UK and overseas. It is our vision to provide help and resources for those who work tirelessly to promote the good news about Jesus to our world.

Currently, we support Mission work in Spain, Brazil, Greece and the UK
